RISKS FOR PROCEDURE
every medical procedure has its risks.
Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers are no different.
While most people describe these procedures "minimally risky" "lunch-time procedures", there are rare but severe side effects.
Botulinum toxin injections have temporarily and transient rare side effects including injection site reaction, bruising, swelling, asymmetry of eyelids or smile.
Dermal fillers are prone to bruising, swelling, infection, over/undercorrection, need for dissolving filler, and possible skin death or vision loss from injection into vessels.
Pregnant and lactating women should not undergo treatment. Patients with severe generalized anxiety and body dysmorphia should also refrain from treatment.
Please read the consent for each procedure carefully before proceeding. If you are worried or hesistant at all about these rare, but real side effects, you should NOT get botulinum toxin or fillers.
There are KNOWN risks to these popular aesthetic treatments. We have our patients sign mandatory permission & arbritation clause prior to treatment. Proceed at your own risk.
